Serviced, not just wiped down

The liquid metal thermal compound has been reapplied and the heatsink realigned. This matters more than anything else on a used PS5. Ours has been opened, cleaned, re-pasted and reassembled properly, so the cooling performs the way it should.

The disc drive has been tested and reads reliably. Every port, the controller connection and the full functionality of the console have been checked before listing.

What the PS5 Standard Edition gives you

The custom high speed SSD loads games in seconds rather than minutes, and the integrated I/O system lets developers pull data instantly instead of hiding loading behind lifts and corridors. Hardware ray tracing renders reflections and lighting the way the scene actually would, and the console outputs 4K at up to 120fps on a compatible TV, with 8K support at 4320p.

The DualSense controller is the other half of the experience. Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers give different resistance depending on what you are doing in the game, which sounds like marketing until you pull a bowstring on one.

Disc version, which matters
